Warner Media Company is a multinational company that is owned by AT&T. AT&T took over the company in 2018. John Stankey is the CEO. The company is well known for mass media and entertainment. Warner Media Company formed after AT&T and Time Warner merged together as one. (Beautiful, right?) In 2017, the companies revenue was an estimate of $31 billion. The list of companies or subsidiaries is out of this world and separates into multiple divisions. The first one is WarnerMedia Entertainment. WarnerMedia Entertainment holds your favorite TV Channels such as TBS, TNT, TruTV, HTV, Turner Sports, HBO (HBO2, HBO Family, and HBO 3), and that's just to name a few that are well known in America. The second one is WarnerMedia News and Sports. This division holds CNN (CNN Films, CNN Airport, CNN en Español, CNN International and CNN.co.jp), HLN, TurnerSports, TNT Sports, MLB Network, and AT&T Sports Net. Image Cred: GIPHY Warner Media is a company that was formed in the 70s, the way they have evolved is something that most media companies cannot say they have done. I love this company and the way they operate because every part and division is genuine. The content they produce or curate is authentic. Every subsidiary that they have has a unique social media platform that embodies its brand. Turner Sports is an excellent example of quality content. They produce fun and engaging content that their fans can relate to. CNN also has unique social media accounts, whether it be CNN en Español or whatever. They have followers that engage (good and bad), which is extremely important for a news outlet. Warner Media's brand voice is focusing on creating ACCURATE, precise, and engaging content that will have viewers wanting to come back for more. They are also building that sense of trust between the company and the audience. I have provided the world with my S.W.O.T. Analysis of Warner Media Company. Warner Media does an excellent job of providing trustworthy and accurate content. They are professional and well-known. Although they possess a large variety of strengths and opportunities, they do have weaknesses like all companies. They have a significant following and engagement on social media, but their content does not appeal to multiple audiences. Each subsidiaries' platform only targets specific people. This can be a blessing within a curse, considering they have so many different subsidiaries to create content for.
